So I’ve logged into this browser mmo where you run a shop and stuff after around a month of inactivity. The place feels deserted and you can almost feel the tumbleweeds rolling all over, but it doesn’t matter.
While checking other people’s profiles, I noticed these new buttons.
It means I’ve been given leadership rights of the city. It also means I can now officially do this:
There’s this cleric on my server that’s, well, bad. Bad enough that you’ll hear people complain about him after wiping in Raksang. His legionmates, while making casual conversation in random pugs, will straight up tell you that “lol he’s shit”.
I’ve met this cleric a few times during kahrun alliance weeklies. One time, he ended up in the tank’s group on Tagata. Around 1 minute into the fight his mp bar was empty. But the tank got no heals from him even before that. The damage log showed him at the bottom too, with a straight zero.
Now you might be wondering, what on earth was he doing there and what could have possibly used up so much mp with no real effect?
I had one suspiction. And I couldn’t believe my eyes when going through the chatlog.
He spent 6k mp recasting Summer Circle over and over. And over.
I am not saying this is a good idea. It’s probably a really bad one. But it just occurred to me that this could actually be the best passive aggressive response to anyone telling their cleric to “just heal”.
Have you noticed how often /3 is full of groups in need of “HEAL”, “CHAIN” or “CLER2GO”? One might think that there’s some kind of shortage of support classes, or maybe those clerics are all cheeky bastards feeling too uptight to lend a hand to randoms.
Here’s what happened when I joined a rentus pug the other day.
i wonder if you really really like someone and they cook you something and it’s bad, would it still taste good to you or, you know, it’d taste bad still but you’d think it’s good just because you really really like them or would it be good and bad at the same time but not really??
I can actually try to answer this in detail based on my own experiences ._.; So here goes~
ow lol someone is ball-deep in his fictional racism today??
I dotn hate asmodian in Fiction I hate their players! too much complaining over…
I must have this beauty on my blog.
This is actually a bit disturbing, how quickly stuff escalated from a possibly in-character emotion that could be somehow justifiable in rping maybe, to a full blown hatred aimed at real, living people (the players behind asmos) .____.
I wonder sometimes, from a purely theoretical standpoint: would the sale of ingame assets (kinah, cleric services, loot rights) in exchange for cybering count as a breach of the terms/rules? Would it fall under fair use of ingame mechanics in rp, or does that border on RMT? How would a GM handle such a case were it to be reported, and would the staff find it amusing? x3
Today, the Aion EU playerbase got a wonderful treat from Gameforge: patch notes for a version that’s been out in every other localisation already. And these patch notes are quite… incomplete, much moreso than their NA counterpart from a few months ago
